I’m 60-something, a mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, living in Western New York.  I love gardening, knitting, epic movies, good music, and anyone with a good sense of humor.  I’m opinionated. Contrary to popular belief, I do NOT dislike dissenting opinions unless they are packaged as personal attacks, willful ignorance, or opinion stated as fact.

I hate Wegmans food stores. I hate the way they are managed by corporate. If that bothers you, I don’t really give a shit.  It is not the be-all, end-all store in Rochester. It is my opinion. You want your opinion, you have to let me have mine.

I am rabidly anti-Trump. If that bothers you, I don’t really give a shit. If you want to come here and spew stuff about how Obama ruined this country or anything like that, you’d better be prepared to cite specific examples, or your comment won’t be approved.

Racism, homophobia, misogyny, xenophobia, and willful ignorance will not be tolerated here. Comments are moderated for this very purpose.

  4. Dear Pat,

I’d be interested in speaking to you about a TV show that we’re producing for LOGO but haven’t been able to locate your email. Please contact me as soon as you can.

  5. Hi Pat,

Thanks so much for coming by, and leaving a message on my blog. It was an honor to have you stop by. Thanks also for adding me to your blogroll. I added you to mine.

I will stop by often to read your blog, and for updates.

I wish you, and Lisa the best with the Monroe County legal appeal.

    Well, keep in touch neighbor,

  6. Hi Pat ….

Tried to email you, but your address came back as “unresolved”?? Hope everything is okay with you!

Just wanted to let you know that I have been in contact with a reporter from Vermont, and my “story” will be running in the Burlington newspaper this Sunday (8/3/08). You can access it online at burlingtonfreepress.com

I haven’t seen what the reporter has put together – I just gave her the facts when she called – but she said that her concentration would be on the Bigamy issue in Vermont rather than on the gay divorce in NY. Let me know what you think if you read it.

Send me an email to let me know you are okay and/or to let me know if you have changed your email address so that I can keep you up-to-date on the case.

    Take care,

  7. I thought you might be interested in the site http://www.courtingequality.com. There is a great video there about the work toward marriage equality in California and Florida. Also, there is a link to the book “Courting Equality,” which is a treasure.

Hey There! Hope you survived your winter…it was a doozy here in VT with lots of snow and an epic ice storm in December. But it’s all good. Just planted some lettuce and beets and – for some reason – planting made me think of you guys. Happy Spring and “hi” to Lisa!
