In Catholic circles, today is the feast of the epiphany.
I’ve had a few of those of my own lately, but we won’t get into that. I just wanted to post that word, though. Doesn’t it look very odd? Sort of like RHYTHM — they just don’t look right.
Well, here I am, in the waning hours of my vacation. Gosh I’ve had a great time this year. I think I’ve enjoyed this time off more than any other year — and what makes it different, I decided, is that Lisa has been home through the whole time. Sleeping, cuddling, vegetating, a little shopping, a little home improvement — that’s all we did, and we enjoyed every minute of it. Or, at least I did.
Lisa’s off working — over at Mary’s house. She spent the day over there yesterday, too. Hey, when work presents itself, you don’t turn it down, right? She’s been putting in new closet (sliding) doors and new door casings (with doors) in a couple of spare bedrooms. Mary tends to work with Lisa so Lisa reduces her hourly rate to work there. Personally, I don’t think she should, since she’s WORKING during that time, anyway, and it’s costing her TIME to do it, no matter how much Mary helps. But, that’s not my decision to make, I suppose. At least not yet. When we’re out on the street begging for money so we can buy food, then I’m going to have something to say about it, I’m sure. But for now…
I’ve been trying for days to get onto the Blue Cross Blue Shield web site (Excellus BC/BS) so that I can locate my gynecologist who left her practice (a group practice) in September to move to Syracuse to “…be closer to her family.” Our new health insurance plan kicked in at the beginning of the month and it now includes “out of network” services so I don’t have any problem going to Syracuse once or twice a year to see a GYN that has consistently provided me with excellent and very personalized service. Like I told Lisa, if she were to make her appointment same day/time as mine, we could go, see the GYN, then stop off at the outlet mall right outside of Syracuse — make a day of it. The problem I’m having is that the web site just grinds away on Google’s search results page, and goes nowhere. It’s frustrating as all hell!
As I typed this, the web page finally came up. Go figure!
OK, so, I stole yet another thing from Lori’s blog. Lori, they say that imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, right? Does that mean stealing stuff from other peoples’ blogs, too? I’m probably going to have to give Lori half-ownership of my blog before too long…
So, without any further adieu, what kind of lover are YOU?
Your Score: The Classic Lover
50% partner focus, 38% aggressiveness, 20% adventurousness
Based on the results of this test, it is highly likely that:
You prefer your romance and love to be traditional rather than daring or out-of-the-ordinary, you would rather be pursued than do the pursuing and, when it comes to physical love, you concentrate more on enjoying the experience rather than worrying about your performance.
This places you in the Lover Style of: The Classic Lover.
The Classic Lover is a wonderful Lover Style, and is the closest it comes to the classic images of the princess in the tower, or the romantic and chivalrous knight, or the hero/heroine from a Disney film. The Classic Lover is a treasure to find, though it can be difficult to do so because they sometimes tend to be shy and/or difficult to successfully court.
In terms of physical love, the Classic Lover again can be shy, and often needs more in terms of emotional security to feel comfortable than some of the other Types. Given the right setting, and the right lover, the Classic Lover can be a delight in bed.
Best Compatibility can probably be found with: The Romantic Lover (most of all) or the Devoted Lover, or the Liberated Lover.
